I picked up my first camera at 14, documenting my parents' 25th anniversary party. When my mom cried looking at the photos — not because they were technically perfect, but because they captured how the day felt — I knew this was my calling.

After studying photojournalism at Columbia, I spent three years as a documentary photographer before a friend asked me to shoot her wedding. That day changed everything. I discovered that weddings combine everything I love: real emotion, beautiful light, fleeting moments, and stories that matter deeply.

Twelve years and 400+ weddings later, my approach hasn't changed: be present, be invisible, be ready. The best photos happen when people forget there's a camera in the room.
